These photos were snapped at Lincoln Center after a series of exhausting shows, including an Oscar Wilde dance party at Nanette Lepore! I owe everything to Gustav Klimt for inspiring this look. I wanted to gently revisit The Kiss, Judith with the Head of Holofernes, and Danae in particular. Gold is a lovely color, but really more outstanding when you smack it against a black canvas.

The shoes are designed by my talented friend, Pamela Quinzi. I saw these at her latest fashion show and fell in love with them immediately. I knew I had to get my hands on them! Plus, they’re incredibly comfortable – at times I almost forgot I was trotting around in heels.
