An Oasis at the Met

I had the pleasure of attending an Oasis at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, hosted by the College Group at the Met. I was running incredibly late for the event, so I threw on this outfit in a few minutes, grabbed the first clutch in sight, and dashed out of the house. For a last minute look, I’m happy that there is a degree of harmony between materials that would otherwise clash.
I would love to include more personal writing in these entries (as recommended by some lovely friends), but I’m battling a horrible case of writer’s block…What’s new? Midterms are also slowly devouring me. On the bright side, I’m leaving for Paris on Wednesday, so expect more exciting content to come. I have planned a lot of shoots with Lindsay Kelbe, my inspirational long-distance love!

Tibi dress, Zara coat, Club Monaco clutch.
I discovered Tibi through my frantic obsession with Olivia Palermo. She very much epitomizes Amy Smilovic’s (founder of Tibi) philosophy on fashion: “I always think a woman should dress in contradictions – youthful and sophisticated, masculine and feminine, bold and muted colors.” If you haven’t heard of Tibi before, you should treat yourself to some eye candy!

I’ll be posting more outtakes, previews, and random mobile uploads to THE STRANGER’s Facebook page. You can follow my adventures in Europe there!
